Glasgow snapshots

As a part of the big Scotland road trip I did with my daughter a few years ago, we stopped in Glasgow for a day.

We were tired of the trip already and maybe we didn’t end up enjoying this city as much. To me it felt very different to Edinburgh. More urban, less monumental, more rough around the edges in some way. We did a quick visit to the Gallery of Modern Art and the Necropolis. Also some wandering around the cathedral. I think we ended walking around areas that were a bit far from the touristic places. There was a lot of wall art though, and that adds colourfulness to a potentially dull looking city. I liked that and here are also a few pictures of somewhat derelict buildings, industrial states and said wall art.

I’d like to visit it again with more time, to better appreciate all what Glasgow has to offer.
