Duxford

Duxford Imperial War Museum is a must visit place, very close to Cambridge, if you are interested in air planes and Second World War history.

There are also very popular acrobatic air shows. One interesting fact is that the film Battle of Britain was partially filmed here, and the blew up a real hangar for some of the sequences. In those days, visual effects were not as advanced as today… 😉
